EAT WELL, BE WELL.

LIVE YOUR HAPPIEST, HEALTHIEST LIFE.

(...AND STILL EAT THE FRIES!)

Research shows we make on average about 200 decisions related to food every day. This can feel overwhelming! There are so many nutrition myths out there about what we should and shouldn’t be eating. In my nutrition coaching program we delve deeply into all aspects of food, and how it fuels your body, mind and heart.

Through culinary coaching you can then learn how to put your nutrition smarts into action. You will learn how to prepare custom recipes that support your unique nutrition goals. By gaining confidence in the kitchen you will also gain control over food choices. This is the number one way to improve your heath and nutrition.

1:1 NUTRITION COACHING

Our bodies are unique and require their own individualized nutrition roadmap to thrive. Nutrition coaching can help support any goal! Whether it be to lose weight, build muscle, improve energy, boost your metabolism, improve your relationship with food, or just to feel like the best version of YOU, my macro based nutrition coaching you will help you gain a deep understanding of the science of nutrition. We will work together to create sustainable healthy eating habits personalized to your needs that are maintainable for a lifetime. This is not a 'diet'. This is an education in food and your body, and an investment in your health.

1:1 CULINARY COACHING

Knowing how to cook significantly improves our overall nutrition and health. People who cook at home consume fewer calories, eat more fruits and vegetables, and make more balanced food choices. In my plant based culinary coaching program we will work together to create foundational recipes catered to your (and your family's!) individual needs. You will learn new skills ranging from how to make good choices when grocery shopping to strategically planning and preparing foods for the week ahead.  By mastering new recipes and cooking skills, nutritious eating will become an organic part of your life.

Frequently Asked Questions

My nutrition coaching  program is about working together to set goals and then create new habits based on solid evidence based nutrition principles. You will have a weekly check-in with me where we review your progress and set goals for the week ahead. I will be available via email to answer any questions you have throughout the week, and will regularly check in to see how your week is going to help provide accountability. My nutrition coaching program is month to month with a three month minimum commitment. In my experience it takes clients at least three months to acquire the knowledge and tools needed to make long term sustainable change.

DO YOU WORK IN PERSON OR VIRTUALLY?

My nutrition coaching is largely virtual. If you live in the Los Angeles area initial meetings can be done in person, but weekly check-ins are done online. Culinary coaching is an in person experience as we get hands on in the kitchen.

DO YOU PLAN MY MEALS FOR ME?

Traditional meal plans are prescriptions that dictate what you should eat and when you should eat it. They can be very tough to follow and leave little room for flexibility. Most importantly they do not help you learn about the 'why' of nutrition science. A meal plan removes any responsibility for your own success, and my nutrition coaching program aims to set you up for long term success where you will be accountable for your own actions.

Research shows that achieving your health goals is 70-80% diet and 20-30% exercise. While both are essential and compliment each other, there is no point spending hours in the gym each week only to set back your efforts with poor nutrition. While some personal trainers also offer nutrition advice, it pays to have a coach who specializes in the field.
